Description


Engineer will provide engineering design, project management and technical support. The Incumbent, with little or no supervision, assumes the responsibility for all aspects of project management including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex projects. Primary accountabilities include developing engineering scope of work, evaluation and approval of engineering designs and calculations, assuring compliance with regulatory requirements, review and approval of engineering drawings, development of material and equipment specifications, cost and schedule monitoring and communicating status. Incumbent must also be able to effectively lead and manage 3rd party engineering firms. The average travel required is about 25%.

Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Engineering from a 4 year College - Mechanical or Civil preferred. 3 to 10 years project management experience preferred. Experience in managing multiple projects with varying priorities and complexities. Effective oral and written communication skills for interaction with internal and external parties. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Microsoft Office skills - Word, Outlook and Excel. Work experience in natural gas industry preferred.
