Job Description
General Dynamics C4 Systems performs Training and Simulation systems and software design, development, integration, fielding and support for civil and military based training systems. Additionally, ADSS develops and maintains COTS software products designed to provide rapid development and deployment of simulation based training systems. These COTS software tools include simulation networking, visualization, management and analysis capabilities utilizing standard High Level Architecture (HLA) and Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) simulation protocols.

Candidate must have prior software development experience in design and implementation of software systems and software applications. Candidate will work in Scottsdale, Arizona as a Software Engineer for the ADSS Business Area Team in Orlando. Candidate must be able to learn S2Focus and some of our other technologies such as Virtual Warrior and support demos, install new software versions and be able to extend S2Focus to support Scottsdale programs. Candidate must be able to support our Land Warrior and Future Force Warrior activities and set up new hardware/software configurations, perform demonstrations to customers/engineers, make software updates to S2Focus and Virtual Warrior and support new interfaces to tactical Land Warrior hardware.

The Engineer must have the following: . Software development experience in C/C++ (at least 3-5 years). . Knowledge of interactive simulations and simulation protocols (DIS and HLA) (2-3 years minimum experience). . Ability to perform technical discussions and demonstrations to customers and other engineering teams of Orlando simulation capabilities and tools (S2Focus). . Ability to set up new computer hardware and network and install simulation software (S2Focus and Virtual Warrior).
