P/T Environmental Protection Training & Opportunities


Make a full time difference in your community and for the environment one weekend a month and two weeks each year. The U.S. Coast Guard Reserve has immediate openings for individuals dedicated to protecting the environment and safety of our nations waterways.<P. a No Experience Necessary. You attend seven week course that teach you the skills necessary to become Marine Environmental Specialist. Your primary duties will include:




Pollution Incident Investigations

Monitoring Pollution Cleanups

Conducting Foreign Vessel Boardings to Enforce Pollution and Navigation Safety Laws

Harbor Patrols

Facility Inspections

Supervision of Explosives Loading
