Program Scheduler

The successful candidate will interface with customer (program management) for directions and tasking and must have strong verbal and written skills necessary to successfully communicate and manage client expectations.


Responsibilities include: designing, building and maintaining an integrated project schedule using MS Project and monitoring program progress. Responsibility also includes maintaining and modifying a program Earned Value Management System (EVMS) using data provided through clients financial system.

Requires personnel with proficiency in the following:


1) MS Project 2003
2) Critical Path Analysis
3) EVMS Methodology


Minimum 5 years of experience in scheduling systems to include schedule planning, schedule development, and schedule analysis. Candidate must have excellent organizational skills, ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and work independently and on teams. Must have strong customer interface skills and have strong interpersonal communication (oral and written) skills. Candidate must have schedule planning and development experience with proven track record of problem solving. Must have excellent computer skills and hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Project. Must have basic understanding of Earned Value Performance Measurement. Must possess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access). Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project. Bachelor's degree desired; may exchange degree for additional years of experience.


Position requires that candidate either holds an active secret clearance or is capable of obtaining and holding a secret clearance.
