The following is prorated for part time
APPROXIMATE ANNUAL SALARY $53,851 - $65,458
Plus approximately $2400/annual South Lake Tahoe Differential
Plus CalPERS 2@55, Medical, Dental and Vision

This recruitment is being conducted to fill one .5 part time vacancy in the El Dorado County Public Health Department in South Lake Tahoe.

Typical duties for this position may include but are not limited to

Performing routine direct and indirect patient care services including: observing signs and symptoms of illness, reactions to treatment, general behavior and general physical conditions; providing for client safety and preparing medications, vaccines and other biologicals.

Assists in development and implementation of outreach programs including: participating as a member of a health services team and with other professionals in the delivery of medical services; and implementing nursing and interventions based on observed abnormalities.

Performing specialized nursing functions including: providing focused assessment, counseling, referral and follow-up to clients in accordance with California Code of Regulations Article 7, Sections 1470-1474; teaching clients self-care concepts and skills, and assisting in modifying the environments.
