You'll be responsible for the overall administration and management of county-wide public works including the policies and procedures, departmental personnel, financial administration and program activities as they relate to the operation of the Department of Public Works. Position requires education equivalent to the completion of core course work from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering and considerable progressive experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities. Candidate must be registered as a Civil Engineer in the State of California and meet the qualifications established by the State of California to perform land surveying.
