Senior Proposal Manager

Professionals are able to provide relevant industry and functional skills where they need them most. We are currently seeking a Senior Proposal Manager to join us in our Washington, D.C. office.
This position will provide proposal management, writing, editing, compliance, issue resolution, coordination, and analysis efforts to responses to RFPs, RFIs, and verbal presentations. This individual should have the ability to apply large ($50 million plus) Federal government procurement process experience to services in order to create winning proposals. They will be expected to lead high-revenue potential ($50 million plus) and smaller tactical but targeted client proposal development, and proposal teams that number 15-plus participants. The position requires identifying resource skills needed, budgeting their time, delegating and working closely with the Opportunity Manager throughout the proposal development process. They should help ensure that Federal RAS and Audit proposals submitted are professional and competitive in an effort to achieve revenue goals.

Responsibilities:
- Organize, lead, and manage proposal and deliverables
- Review proposal drafts and final drafts for compliance and content
- Mentor junior proposal Managers and Coordinators
- Organize kickoff, status, review, and lessons learned meetings
- Serve as formal Red or Gold Team reviewer (final approval to help ensure win plan is clearly present and previous shortcomings are resolved)
- Support the Associate Director

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- Five years of proposal management experience with large value ($50 million plus) federal government bids and ten years of general proposal experience
- Supervisory experience
- Solid understanding of federal government procurement process and policies
- Able to obtain a government security clearance
