JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for providing software consulting in a multi-platform, multi-operating system environment. The consultant may be called upon to develop web-based or database software under different development environments and programming languages. The consultant may also be called upon to recommend upgrades to existing software for the purpose of enhancing usability and performance. The consultant will also help debug and troubleshoot both COTS and internally developed software. Makes presentations to customers, providing technical information and recommendations.

Requirements:
The candidate will have 2-9 years experience developing applications. Must have programming skills with demonstrated proficiency in at least one of the following: ColdFusion, database language (SQL Server, Oracle, etc ...), C/C++, Visual C++, Visual Basic, Java, Perl, ASP or HTML. Excellent communication skills required. 20% travel may be required. Bachelor degree in Computer Science or an Information Technology field is highly desired. Microsoft Systems Developer (MCSD) certification a plus. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
