Overview:
The ADMINISTRATOR / DIRECTOR OF CLINICAL SERVICES (*) is responsible for the global management of all activities of the agency. He/she is responsible for developing and implementing a viable market and strategic plan to promote the health care services for the location.

Responsibilities:
This individual will implement an effective budget and assume profit/loss responsibility of the operation. He/she organizes and directs professional and paraprofessional services and is accountable for adherence to federal, state, and local laws, accreditation, and company policies and standards for compliance and reimbursable client care services. He/she functions under the direction of the Regional Vice President, Regional Manager and Board of Directors. He/she must be available on the premises or accessible during operating hours.

Qualifications:
1. A Registered Nurse with a baccalaureate or higher degree in nursing or other health related field, health/human services administration, or business and at least one year of supervisory or administrative experience within the last three years in a home health agency, home care setting, or health facility; including bottom line responsibility for overall financial management of the business and the management of professional persons;

2. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state in which he/she is required to practice.

3. Must meet educational/experience requirements outlined in the laws of licensure states.

4. Self-directed and accountable for the growth of the agency while ensuring the agency is compliant with Federal, State and local laws and/or guidelines for providing home care services.

5. Possess competent working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines.

6. Ability to relate to, and knowledgeable of the treatment for acutely ill/terminally ill patients/families and their particular needs.

7. Ability to make clinical management decisions regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the patient.

8. Must possess content knowledge of comprehensive patient assessments, clinical/financial care planning and multi-discipline care management.

9. Ability to make home care management decisions regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the patient.

10. Possesses excellent organizational, interpersonal, telephone, marketing, communication, and critical thinking skills.

11. Must possess the disposition and personality to work harmoniously with a wide variety of people and all levels of staff and interact professionally as a leading member of a multi-disciplinary team.

12. Must possess a strong commitment to the goals, mission, and philosophy of the organization.

13. Absolute integrity and the use of good judgment to handle the professional and confidential nature of assignments.
