An independent diagnostic testing services provider engaged in performing cardiopulmonary exercise tests (CPET), pulmonary function tests (PFT), and resting metabolic rate (RMR) tests is seeking Cardiopulmonary Technicians for their growing business. Our testing services are recognized by, and follow the guidelines of, the following organizations:

The American Heart Association

The American College of Cardiology

The American College of Chest Physicians

The American Thoracic Society

The American College of Sports Medicine


Interviewing now! However, position will not be available until end of September/early November.


Requirements:

* Bachelors or Masters in Exercise Physiology or equivalent

* Working knowledge of cardiac, respiratory and exercise physiology

* Current certification in CPR

* ACLS and CPTF certifications (will provide training and certifications for CPTF if needed - ACLS must be obtained before or within a month of hire)

* Personable, outgoing personality

* Experience with handling customer needs and concerns

* Clean cut and professional


Responsibilities:

* Quality control of equipment (biological and mechanical)

* Collection of patient data (history, consent, insurance information)

* Performance of test(s) ordered by physician (PFT/CPET/RMR)

* Writing exercise prescriptions on an as needed basis, when ordered by physician

* Transition of data to Atlanta Operations Center

* Printing of reports for ordering/supervising physician

* Maintenance of patient records

* Recognition of testing abnormalities and basic troubleshooting of testing errors

* Basic knowledge of billing procedures to answer elementary questions

* On-going education of site staff


This company is looking to open at 40 new locations this year in several states; including North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Currently seeking candidates for Villa Rica, GA; Birmingham, AL; and the state of Mississippi, primarily Meridian. Upon hire candidate will have to report to the corporate office in Atlanta for one week of training. Hotel and other expenses will be provided. Thereafter, company will cover some or all of relocation costs.


Drug screening and background checks will be performed.


Salary:

$31,000 - $35,000 depending on certifications and experience
