DIRECTOR OF NURSING FOR BULLOCK COUNTY HOSPITAL





JOB SUMMARY





Responsible for the administration of the Department of Nursing Service and designated ancillary departments.


Accountable for directing, planning, organizing, and controlling nursing service functions to:


Assure that nursing standards are consistent with requirements of regulatory bodies.


Assure that resources are available to provide patient care in a cost-effective manner.


Enhance cooperative working relationships in nursing service and between departments.


Enhance professional growth of nursing service personnel.


Interpret hospital and nursing service policies to others.


Function as Administrative designee in the absence of the Hospital Administrator.





QUALIFICATIONS





Associate Degree in Nursing required
