As the Director of Gentiva Safe Strides, you will:

*Develop and implement marketing plans for the growth of the Safe Strides specialty business. Develop operating, financial and marketing protocols (procedures, practices) for the Safe Strides business

*Determine market potential, competition, regulatory climate, licensure requirements and medical community support for specialty. Meet with existing and potential customers to establish fair pricing.

*Develop training programs for field staff to facilitate their understanding of the specialty.

*Maintain ongoing clinical knowledge through internal/external training programs, provide interpretation of knowledge and direction to staff.

*Recruit, interview and hire clinical and support staff required for specialty. Support performance reviews and counseling sessions to enhance potential to specialty staff.

*Assist with the preparation of specialty budget and monitor expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budgetary constraints.

Qualifications

*Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited Physical Therapy Program

*A minimum of five years experience in balance dysfunction preferred

*Three years of supervisory experience

*Business development, contracting and marketing skills desired

*Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
