Fairbanks Memorial Hospital/Denali Center (FMH/DC), a non-profit facility, is owned by the Greater Fairbanks Community Hospital Foundation and managed by Banner Health. This is a Director position for Behavioral Health.

Responsibilities:
The Director of Patient/Resident Care Services leads the team in developing, implementing and supporting changes in processes. The Director facilitates the innovative, efficient and quality of patient/resident care services in area of responsibility. This position oversees all direct patient/resident care and programmatic activities for assigned area. High performance is essential in improving operational effectiveness; assuring customer satisfaction, clinical excellence, physician and employee satisfaction. Develops and implements new programs focused on process and service improvement.
Qualifications:
The position requires licensure as a professional nurse in the state of Alaska. A Bachelor's Degree is required; a Master of Science degree in nursing or a relevant field is preferred. Clinical and management experience demonstrating progressive leadership development and competency is also required. Must be able to communicate effectively, orally and in written formats. Demonstrates behaviors consistent with BHS values, management expectations, and service standards.
