Overview:
Washakie Medical Center is a critical access hospital located in north central Wyoming at the foot of the Big Horn Mountains, in the city of Worland. The hospital provides a full array of inpatient and outpatient health care services including a Level III trauma Center, state-of-the-art birthing suites, and a specialty clinic providing a wide range of care by visiting physicians. This is a full-time exempt position includes days with some weekend/evening/holiday on-call.
Responsibilities:
Planning and organizing assigned activities of Plant operations, maintenance functions and environmental services which are necessary in maintaining the facility and properties in a clean, operative and safe working condition. Training and supervision of maintenance and environmental services personnel. Arranges contact with service representatives and contractors regarding routine or emergency repairs.
Qualifications:
Degree in engineering or clinical engineering is desirable. Certification is ASHE or ASHES preferred; must be obtained with 2 years of accepting the position.
Requires knowledge of building maintenance. Building maintenance experience in a health care setting is preferred. Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
