Med Tech - ASCP

The purpose of your position is to draw specimens and perform analysis to furnish physicians with pertinent information regarding the patient's health and perform various chemical, microscopic and bacteriologic tests to obtain patient data.




EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS








Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or equivalent.





LICENSES





(MT ASCP)


Must be American Society of Clinical Pathologists registered or equivalent.





(MT Registry Eligible)


Must be registry eligible for American Society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalent and must become ASCP or equivalent certified/registered within 24 months of hire





EXPERIENCE





MT (ASCP)/MT registry eligible or equivalent, no experience necessary
