Description


1. Administer bronchial dilation medication through various delivery modalities, including IPV, IPPB, handheld nebulizer and MDI

2. Responsible for ventilator management

3. Set up oxygen delivery and monitor

4. Draw and analyze arterial blood gases

5. Perform chest physiotherapy (CPT) manually or automated

6. Respond to Code Blue alerts and other emergency codes

7. Perform medical record documentation

8. Perform quality control on blood gas lab analyzers

9. Clean equipment as necessary


Qualifications
Must be a graduate of an approved program in respiratory therapy. -Must have BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP. Must be able to follow instructions, work quickly and accurately in a fast paced environment. Analytical and grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential. Must be fluent in spoken and written English. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
