Job Details:
Provides administrative and secretarial support for the Sr Sales Manager and Sales Dept.
Prepares and types documents in rough and final form, including correspondence, forms, reports, charts and graphs. Composes drafts of memos, letters and other correspondence on behalf of the Sr. Sales Manager. Ensures competency of work from the standpoint of grammar, composition and format. Sets up and maintains all files and records, as required. Schedules meetings and coordinates tradeshows as requested. Interfaces with corporate legal to coordinate development of bus vendor contracts. Updates and maintains the sales policy manual to ensure it is current at all times. Places, accepts and screens telephone calls and refers calls to others as appropriate. Responsible for placing vendor orders, tracking orders and follow-up while meeting compliance standards. Collects all deposits required for the sales department and maintains an accurate log to support reconciliation.
High school graduate required. Must be dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and be a strong team player. Must possess strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, customer service, administrative and organizational skills. Must have excellent PC skills and knowledge of most software (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS mail). Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and high degree of initiative. Must have two to three years secretarial or administrative experience. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Bilingual a plus.
Preference is given to qualified Ak-Chin Tribal Members and Tribal Members of recognized Arizona Tribes.
