Responsibilities:
This position processes and follows through on patient diet orders and menus including those with diet modifications. This position checks the trayline, interviews newly admitted patients for nutritional problems, and calculates modified diet restrictions for patient menus. This position monitors food service employees in absence of management personnel. This position receives patient menu orders, passes and picks up patient meal trays, inventories floor stocks, and provides one on one customer service needs to patients and families.

Qualifications:
This position requires 1 year food service experience or 1 year related education and the ability to follow established policy and procedures, accurately calculate diets, become familiar with diet restrictions. The position also requires the phone skills and the ability to communicate verbally as well as in writing and provide excellent customer service.
