Overview:
The purpose of this position is to perform all cleaning related functions, in assigned areas, according to facility and departmental policies, in order to ensure the safety, health, and morale of our patients, visitors, and staff by helping to provide a clean, safe, and aesthetic environment with minimal interference to others. Must support and exhibit good customer relation skills and follow all safety regulations. Performs all related duties as required. Follows safety standards in all aspects of performance of the above functions, reports/removes unsafe equipment, and attends safety education sessions.

Qualifications:
One year previous experience in Environmental Services in a health care setting is preferred. Requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision. Must be able to follow written and verbal directions in English. Must have effective inter-personal/customer service skills. Must be able to read and understand MSDS sheets and fill out chemical identification stickers in English.
