Job Details:

Provides friendly and excellent service to every guest while taking and servicing the guest's food and beverage order.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
Learns operating functions of cash register and is responsible for cash and comp check transactions. Keeps customer area, front line and prep areas clean, orderly, stocked and sanitary. Coordinates reordering of goods with cook. Follows proper sanitation guidelines when handling food products. Able to set up dish washing machine, places all items to be washed in their proper rack and sanitizes all cooking equipment. Returns all cleaned items to proper place for storing. Collects all soiled pots and pans; washes and restocks cleaned items on proper shelves. Responsible for all removal of garbage and refuse. Stores, labels, dates and rotates all foods. Properly records and limits waste products. Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah's and encourages others to do the same. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, safety, departmental and company policies.



JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have at least 3 months previous experience as a cashier and 1 year previous experience in a high-volume, food service operation. Must have speed and accuracy in order to maintain maximum efficiency. Must be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. Must present a well-groomed appearance.


Preference is given to qualified Ak-Chin Tribal Members and Tribal Members of recognized Arizona Tribes.
