Job Details:

This position requires heavy travel both in state and possibly out of state.

Assists Sales Manager in developing, implementation and coordination of motor coach programs (i.e. charter and line run) to obtain the sales goals and objectives for Harrah's Ak-Chin Casino Resort. Solicits group business within corporate, senior, convention, and the tour/travel market segments. Develop programs to attract group and line run motor coach business. Generate new group accounts. Target new business opportunities and develop profitable customer segments for group programs. Conduct sales calls to promote property. Represent Harrah's Ak-Chin Casino at trade shows and professional/association meetings. Conduct site inspections and familiarization tours. Respond to telephone and walk-in inquiries. Monitor and report to the Sales Manager on the competitor's charter and shuttle programs. Conduct telemarketing programs and works with Bus Coordinators to prospect and generate sales leads.


Education: College education preferred or 2-4 years in a related marketing field. Bilingual a plus. Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated; have strong organizational and communication skills. Must have valid driver's license. Capable of working independently and taking initiate. Outstanding customer relations skills and interpersonal skills. Must have upbeat and positive personality. Ability to work with software applications, i.e. Microsoft Windows, Word, Power Point and Excel.
