Unit Description:
This position is a temporary position which will eventually lead to a permanent assignment. It will require travel, some of which may be overnight within the Southeast States of Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi. Candidate should reside in one of these locations. This is a full time position with a competitive salary, benefits and living expenses.
Job Description:
Position Summary: Plans, directs and coordinates the activities of food production employees. Responsible for the purchasing and receiving of food and supplies, as well as monitoring the inventory. Maintains food production records/cost indicators. Plans and costs menus. Basic Education Requirement: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree Basic Management/Supervisory Experience Required: 1 year of lead/supervisory/management experience Basic Functional Experience Required: 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc. You may substitute 1 additional year of experience for each year of education below the basic requirement above as long as you possess a high-school diploma or GED.
