Overview:
This position is responsible for effective development and presentation of financial and statistical analysis supporting System Materials Management contracting and cost reduction goals. Works in conjunction with Clinical Supply Managers, Purchasing Agents, Facility Materials Management, and other departments to assure that contractual requirements are met. This position is accountable for managing consignment portfolio of agreements, the operational and personnel activities associated with the OR/Cathlab implant purchase and reimbursement process, and identifying/pursuing cost savings opportunities through GPO contract analysis.

Qualifications:
A strong knowledge of accounting or business as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or business administration. Three years materials management experience with a focus in data analysis preferred. An understanding of the health care industry is essential. A thorough knowledge of personal software packages to include Micro Soft applications with extensive knowledge of MS Access/Excel to be able to perform the data analysis functions listed above. Working knowledge of various MMIS systems to include a strong understanding of Lawson. The incumbent must possess good interpersonal skills, be able to communicate effectively verbally and in written form, have the ability to organize, set priorities and manage time and be able to work independently.
