Compensation/HR Analyst
Overview:
Comrise, a 23 year old veteran in Staffing and Consulting, is seeking a Compensation/HR Analyst to work at our Fortune 100 client site in Scottsdale, AZ. Our client is a leading provider of supply, information and care management products and services.
Responsibilities:
Provide Compensation and Analytic procedural expertise. Responsible for analyzing human capital data to support the strategic goals of the HR Department. Analyzes a wide array of HR data to evaluate and increase efficiencies and maintain competitive positioning. Provides recommendations for improvements to policies or procedures. Consult with managers and employees on Compensation related issues including construction/review of job descriptions, job leveling, equity reviews, department structures, pay changes, etc. Ensure adherence to legal and Company guidelines. Develop, maintain and run all data analyses necessary to build HR Metrics Dashboard each month. This includes extracting data from multiple sources, compiling it and formatting it for upload into the Dashboard Software. Responsible for trend analysis and summary of findings. Project manage special HR related initiatives (examples could include revision of existing initiatives or research and roll-out of new initiatives). Manage PeopleSoft employment database. Includes running audit queries and ensuring data is updated in a timely and accurate manner to reflect changes in employment status (e.g. grade changes, title changes, reporting relationships, terminations, etc). Serve as Department Maintenance and Enhancement Proposal Evaluation Committee (EPEC) team representative for the business unit with the HRIS group. Evaluate and approve MMI requests submitted by managers. Administer various HR programs (e.g. annual review, MIP program, data collection, submission of compensation survey materials, benefits open enrollment, MMI enhancements, etc.). Prepare educational materials for and provide support to managers on the utilization of HR tools and technology. Participate in other studies and work on special assignments as needed.
Qualifications:
4 year degree in Human Resources, Business or related field or equivalent experience, 2-3 years experience in Compensation or highly analytic/technical HR position, Project Management experience, Project management methodologies / skills, excellent analytic ability, expertise in PeopleSoft Query writing, highly skilled in using Microsoft Excel and Access, ability to master new technology quickly, detail oriented, ability to maintain confidentiality, highly ethical, fantastic team player and positive demeanor
