Description:


Group Overview:



HR Direct is the first point of contact for Schwab employees, former employees, contractors and certain vendors on questions relating to employment, benefits, policies and procedures. The specific objective of the group is to handle Tier 1 requests that do not require intervention of higher-level HR staff. Additionally, the team enters certain data into applications used by the firm including PeopleSoft, the Performance Management Tool, eTimesheets, etc.





Responsibilities:



The Customer Services Representative will respond to phone and e-mail inquiries relating to Human Resource issues at Schwab.





Qualifications:


Individuals should have a minimum of one year of client service experience, preferably with HR issues
Must have basic personal computer experience including MS Word and Excel
Some knowledge of the brokerage and/or banking industries preferred
Some knowledge of HR regulations, policies and procedures including FSCs, LOAs, and certain Schwab-specific programs preferred, but not required

Strong customer service skills including exceptional telephone/call center skills
Ability to learn new policies and programs quickly and then respond to employee issues professionally and consistently
Tremendous flexibility and ability to grasp new programs and policies effectively Requirements: Relocation Offered?
