Human Resource Administrative Translator
Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department. To assist, maintain, and coordinate Spanish speaking activities involved with carrying out HR policies, procedures, benefits, and employee programs. Has frequent interaction with the public, state and federal agencies, and employees at all levels.
Provide customer service to employees, applicants, visitors, supervisors, management, and other administrative staff.
Maintain and track human resource measurement data and develop reports for management as well as outside agencies as requested or required by law. These reports would include such things as Wisconsin New Hire report, turnover, safety, etc.
Maintain HR filing systems by copy, closing, purging existing employee files and setting up files for new employees.
Provide administrative support for the hiring process to include maintaining requisition system, I-9 verification and follow-up, scheduling interviews and drug test, assisting new employees with new hire paperwork and informing appropriate staff of new hire placements. Emphasis on Spanish speaking individuals.
Assist with maintenance and provides technical support for HR Information Systems, Ashley Data Collections, and Ashley Time and Attendance to include all outlying locations.
Complete various administrative tasks to support the HR Department:
Basic Data entry
Complete employment verifications
Professional business and form letters
Investigate and process unemployment compensation requests.
Investigate and correct "Change of Status" forms.
Interpret phone messages correctly and record them into the appropriate log
and database.
Maintain reliable attendance
Actively participate in departmental meetings, training, and education. Assist with training other employees and providing backup.
Complete other assignments and special projects as requested.
