Human Resources Supervisor

Large manufacturing company is seeking a full-time Human Resources Supervisor. Responsibilities include the following:



Plan and coordinates the training needs and requirements of the plant's hourly workforce. Develops and maintains an overall plant training program to include a training matrix, training database, work instructions for all hourly positions and up-to-date training selection assessment.

Coordinates the hiring of all hourly employees, to include recruiting, testing, interviewing and selecting of candidates while incorporating all Corporate selection requirements.

Provides assistance to employees and supervisor in solving work-related problems.

Serves as primary backup to all personnel in the Human Resources Department.

Assists employees with questions concerning company benefit programs. Ensures compliance with State and Federal regulations related to FMLA, EEO, ADA, OSHA, etc. May act as the Company representative at unemployment and workers compensation hearings. Completes wage and benefit surveys annually.

Serves as the representative on the Lean Steering Team, and coordinates and publishes the Lean Newsletter.

Develops and conducts training to instruct organization manager, supervisors and employees in areas such as supervisory skills, future-oriented teams, interviewing techniques, conflict resolution skills and effective group interaction skills.

Conducts tours for visitors and new employees, monitor the progress of all new employees and ensures that probationary employee reviews are completed in a proactive an timely manner.
Associate's Degree in business or related field with an emphasis in human resources required. Bachelor Degree in business or related f8ield strongly preferred. Two to three years human resources experience in an industrial environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
