Organizational Development and Training Design and Delivery



PetSmart corporate headquarters (Store Support Group) in Phoenix, Arizona currently has an opening for an Organizational Development & Learning Analyst.


Responsible for supporting organizational development and training design and delivery services to field and SSG as assigned. Key responsibilities include supporting People department initiatives such as performance management and learning and development for the field and SSG.

ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

You will partner with other PetSmart OD associates to work on PetSmart's large scale People department initiatives that will include:



Building key relationships with internal clients, including field and SSG senior management.


Planning and overseeing the roll-out, administration and collection of the cascading goals process.


Planning and overseeing the roll-out, administration and collection of the performance appraisal process.


Supporting the development of coaching and individual development planning.


LEARNING

The Organizational Development & Learning Analyst works on training initiatives including:


Seeking and evaluating vendors for training services.

Assessing internal client needs to determine appropriate training responses.

Delivering certain training content to associates via stand-up delivery.

Planning the implementation of training pilots and classes, including the scheduling and coordination of classes and instructors and participant enrollment

Using metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and recommending curriculum improvements

Master's or Bachelor's degree from an established and accredited college or university and two to four years of work experience is required.

Prefer work experience in retail, services or consumer products industries as an OD or training practitioner.
