Summary:





This position supports a team of Claims Representatives with various tasks relating to the set up and ongoing handling of the claim. Primary responsibilities include sorting all incoming mail, answering overflow phone calls, and maintaining supplies for the staff. May handle basic losses such as windshield and tow claims.





Job Responsibilities:








Set up initial claims files







Orders police reports







Sends out medical and wage verification documents, and requests for medical and lost wage documents




Orders credit histories and inputs ISO data as required







Ensures proper mail distribution







Answers customer calls and provides updates when needed







Ensures proper maintenance of closed files







May handle windshield and tow claims








Qualifications:








High School diploma is required, some college preferred







Prior auto claims experience preferred








Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills







Strong analytical skills







Organizational and multi-tasking abilities







Solid negotiation skills







Exceptional customer service skills







Team Player who can assist others as needed







Solid computer skills and use with MS Office Products
