WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Qualified candidates will have the following requirements:

As a member of the BI/Specialty IT team, incumbent will be responsible for the review of technical design solutions, code walk throughs, and risk assessments with our sourcing partner. This position is to assure functional and non-functional compliance to standards. Incumbent will be working on production support initatives as well as major enhancements.

Qualified Candidates will have the following requirements:
6-8 years experience technical design and development
Expert in Oracle Tool Set
Billing or financial system experience
Strong communication skills

WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION?

Successful incumbents will be responsible for:
Provide guidance to suppliers on Hartford coding standards and accepted development methodologies
Work with system architects and ISD to secure approval on changes to coding standards and development methodologies as proposed by the suppliers
Review code developed by supplier and participate in code walkthroughs to ensure code satisfies all requirements identified in the business and technical specifications
Assist supplier in review of technical specifications to ensure business requirements are met
Approve development estimates provided by supplier developers
Work closely with Hartford PM and BA to ensure standards and business requirements are met
