WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
An Auto Service Representative located in Alabama to join our Auto Physical Damage Unit. The ideal area for this individual's territory will be positioned in Cullman County, Alabama. This individual must have 5+ years estimating experience as a staff appraiser, or equivalent estimating experience in the auto repair industry, auto body repair experience would be a plus. Excellent communications skills (written, computer, oral), customer service skills, problem solving and decision making skills are essential. Ability to work independently, yet collaborate with others, is required. Other important skills include: planning and organizing, handling multiple tasks simultaneously, analyzing, exploring and evaluating information. Effective sales and negotiation skills are necessary. Prefer CCC Pathways experience.
WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION?
Interacting with claims dispatchers for assignments; coordinating appraisals with claim handlers, inspecting and appraising damaged vehicles in the assigned territory; working closely with direct repair shops and other body shops to complete repairs or determine and evaluate total losses; and processing estimates in the computer system. A company car is provided. Occasional overnight travel may be required to complete your normal duties and extended travel may be required during catastrophe situations.

This position will report to The Hartford Southeast Personal Lines Claims Service Center (SEPLCSC) in Tampa FL, however, you will work remotely in the field from your residence. You will be provided a company car to allow on site visits in your territory.
