Overview:
This position is responsible for the initial claim loss report and providing clerical support to the claims department of Western United Insurance.



Responsibilities:

Answer incoming telephone calls in a prompt and courteous manner; provide information and assistance as required.
Data entry of New Loss Report information into claim processing system, flagging key points for claim examiners.
Assignment and organization of files in preparation for handling by a claims examiner.
Order police reports and other documents when appropriate.
Enter appropriate funds for new claims.



Qualifications:

High School diploma.
Ability to work in a team environment.
PC skills and basic data entry skills are a necessity.
Alpha numeric filing knowledge.
Eager to learn new tasks.
Demonstrate initiative.
