Claims Processor Associate

Description:

The analyst reviews, completes and validates physician, hospital and ancillary claims data. Any corrective actions must be keyed into the applicable system application in an accurate and timely manner. May also require researching member and provider eligibility to ensure the claims are ultimately processed in an accurate manner.

Job Duties:
Reviews required data from an imaged verion of original claim.
Visually inspect and evaluate information on claim posting screen compared to the image.
Key any missing information or data corrections into claim system.
Maintain acceptable service turn around time with the review and resolution of the claim.
Maintain acceptable production and quality standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Regular and punctual attendance.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.
Strong keyboard skills, with alpha and numic proficiency.
Previous data entry experience highly preferred.
Must be detail oriented.
Prefer experience in a high volume production envirnoment where high levels of volume and
quality were paramount.
Basic knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently towards a team goal.
Requires ability to set and key from workstation for extended periods of time..
