EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Under general direction, this individual will be responsible for assisting
with the implementation and deployment of multiple travel education and
development projects within the Travel Product Management Division, ensuring
quality and timely deliverables within a dynamically changing environment.

· Assist in the development of promotion and sales of the Sojourns product,
ensuring quality and timely deliverables to all Travel Agent and Auto Travel
groups with objective of increased sales and revenue of Sojourns product.

· Provide assistance in the development and deployment of various vendor and
destination based sales projects for Auto Travel and Travel Agency Staff in
order to maximize the revenue potential of the Travel sales force.

· Responsible for the ongoing coordination, development, implementation and
delivery of various skill development projects related to Travel Technology.

· Will be required to facilitate, coordinate and organize presentations for
skill development of new hires and current travel sales employees (both
Auto-Travel & travel Agents).

· Assist with projects relating to streamlining of policies and procedures for
Auto Travel and Travel Agents in order to provide on-line support and resources.

· Key liaison with P&P for administration, tracking and maintenance of all
training programs tracked in ONTRAK. Provide subject matter expertise for all
travel related educational and skill competency programs (certifications,
continuing education and curriculum) to ensure compliance and high skill level
of the travel sales force. Develop partnership, collaboration and coordinated
approach to reduce expenses and maximize use of current resources.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Must possess analytical and problem solving skills to successfully manage
projects and cross-functional teams.

· Must demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly (verbal and written) for
easy understanding and the ability to facilitate and manage a classroom and or
e-learning session.

Must possess basics of assisting with managing project management, collaboration
skills and teamwork with others; ability to encourage, discipline and achieve
operational excellence throughout the division.

o Must be CTA (or CTC) with at least one (preferably two) DS specialization.
o Must be well traveled with extensive knowledge of foreign and domestic
traveler's needs and preferences and travel destinations.
o Knowledge of travel industry trends and best practices to recommend
enhancements to methodologies and modify processes.
o Ability to adapt processes to reflect frequently changing internal and
external needs
o In-depth knowledge of CSAA travel and membership products with a demonstrable
understanding of all travel and travel related programs.
o Knowledge of Auto-Travel, Travel Agency and MSC policies and procedures from
an operational perspective.
o Must demonstrate excellent communication/interpersonal skills supporting
interactions with external partners and vendors
o Excellent written and oral communications skills to deliver formal
presentations, discussions and talks for staff and other classroom and group
settings
o Skilled in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, WebEx and Apollo
