Bring your underwriting background to this promising role that offers a stable environment with plenty of room for advancement. Primary responsibilities include:
Reviewing new business requests
Directing the underwriting coordinator in census entry
Performing pricing development from a rate model
Participating in peer review with another underwriter or manager
Working on ad hoc analysis reports and projects
Meeting quality and turnaround expectations



A strong background in fully insured, large group underwriting is required for this role, ideally in the healthcare industry. Self-funded underwriting experience would be a plus. A history of work in the financial or actuarial fields is ideal. Excellent communication skills are key. A Bachelor’s degree is required.
