WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Strong Financial Acumen
Current Series 6 and 26 license or willing to obtain
Strong communication (both written and verbal); ability to represent the department on financial issues and interact with Senior Leadership confidently
Working knowledge of Compliance/SOX initiative
Knowledge of annuities
Strong Analytical Skills / Experienced and creative problem solver
Strong leadership skills including staff coaching and talent development
Time Management and Desk Management Skills
Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities

WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION?

Successful incumbents will be responsible for:

FINANCIAL INTEGRITY - Lead and participate with contact center team in identifying and resolving financial issues; generate solutions to improve performances and resolve issues relating to gain/loss exposure; take the lead to plan and implement solutions for the team and department. In all activities, maintain focus on customer and business partner.

LEADERSHIP - Role Model and Coach for team members. Manage team inventory and crises. Ensure the integrity of financial transactions. Represent the department with all levels of management. Lead the Annuity Contact Center Management Team on improving financial performance. Review exceptions, resolves problems. Sets direction, provides coaching and day-to-day management of a team for the call center. Provides support to staff on all issues. Coaches and develops staff, administers quality program, delivers performance appraisals and feedback. Focus on continuous improvement.

RELATIONSHIP BUILDING - Develop and maintain strong relationships with team, peers, and all levels of management within IPD. Interact with Compliance and Legal on various issues regarding SOX and other compliance driven initiatives. Work with IT to ensure appropriate assignment of Business Analysts on testing requirements, and sign off on test plans.
