WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Qualified candidates will have the following requirements:

Ability to demonstrate ownership of the quote/renewal process by aggressively pursuing conversations with key areas such as Claims, Underwriting and Actuarial; work within a multifunctional team and with internal and external areas to develop a profitable book of business that meets division and corporate financial goals, in accordance with established standards and procedures.

Ability to efficiently analyzes census data for potential missing information and Rating/Case Management/Submission incompatibilities as well as master census workflow including gathering, input and analysis, using Excel.

Ability to establish balance between production numbers and accuracy.

2+ years as a Rating Analyst or equivalent insurance experience

Systems Knowledge:

Intermediate/Expert Excel knowledge

WHAT IS THE COMPENSATION OPPORTUNITY?

At the Hartford, our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay competitive base salaries and reward performance. The pay opportunity for positions within this tier ranges from $20,000 to $55,000. In addition, you will be eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits program including Medical, Dental, Life and Disability Insurance, a 401K Plan, an Employee Stock Purchase Plan and more.

WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION?

This position supports renewal and presale processes by providing manual rating quotes for Regional and National Accounts; Renewal Ratings for Priority Accounts and consulting to Regional Accounts, Priority Accounts, National Accounts and Multi-Channel Distribution Underwriters/Renewal Analysts.
