Works closely with business managers to anticipate and respond to hiring needs. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:(Percentage of time may fluctuate due to volume and/or assigned business area.)40% Schedules and conducts behavioral phone interviews with candidates, using targeted selection interview guides. Reviews results to determine eligibility, makes hiring recommendations, determines candidate suitability, and arranges for moving through the interview process. Turns down candidates not qualified based on job specifications or job fit. Facilitates candidate selection meetings to ensure fair, equitable process.25% Sources internal and external candidates using various resources and/or methods. 20% Manages the end-to-end selection processes for assigned requisitions. 10% Participates in or takes a lead role in special projects as required to meet objectives of National Employment Team; conducts internal training classes in the selection process. 5% Prepares documentation and reports. Ensures recruiting systems are updated with candidate status. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:- Bachelor's degree Human Resources or relevant field of study; or Associates degree and at least 5 years of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Solid understanding of recruiting practices.At Progressive, status quo won't cut it.
