WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

Location of position is negotiable in key Central and Western metropolitan areas.

The Voluntary Enrollment Team is an integral part of the overall Group Benefits Division (GBD) Voluntary Strategy. This group is positioned to be a revenue driver and solution provider through maximizing participation with in-force and new business customers. The Regional Enrollment Manager position provides leadership and in-depth enrollment experience to a team of Voluntary Enrollment Consultants located in key field sales offices. The team will be integrating its Voluntary Expertise into the GBD culture by providing Voluntary and Enrollment solutions directly to customers via the Sales, Service, Underwriting and Marketing teams.

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

- 4 year degree and 3-5 years supervisory experience

- Ability to negotiate and execute appropriate enrollment strategies/services

- Ability to be innovative in offering consumer-focused marketing and enrollment solutions

- Strong leadership skills (ability to manage, coach, and develop staff)

- Strong customer service skills

- Creative problem solving skills

- Effective Communication and Presentation skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to build relationships with field offices, brokers and customers

- Strong time management skills through effectively managing multiple priorities

- Experience with Life and Disability Insurance product offerings

- Knowledge of group benefits marketplace and enrollment experience required

- Candidate is licensed in resident/home state

WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION?

In this role, you will be a producing manager and one of the leaders promoting the "Voluntary Enrollment Story". Your responsibilities may include, but not be limited to:

- Voluntary Liaison and expert in the voluntary markets for internal partners and external customers and producers

- Manage and motivates team of full-time Voluntary Enrollment Consultants located throughout the West and Central Regions

- Develop a comprehensive business plan to achieve regional and team objectives and targets (e.g. # of enrollment meetings; Premium targets; Participation targets)

- Hold self and team accountable for achieving set targets in 2006 and beyond
