Overview:
This position is responsible for reviewing claims files, assessing liability and developing negotiation strategy for maximizing recoveries from salvage and subrogation claims for Western United Insurance.



Responsibilities:
Negotiate and collect the maximum proceeds on salvage claims. Locate and remove vehicles from storage facilities. Process titles and completes necessary paper work involved in the disposal of salvaged vehicles. Review claim files for subrogation potential. Fully accountable for proper review and action taken on the files. Maintain individual diary control over Salvage Recovery files. Accountable for obtaining maximum Salvage performance. Keep active and current log on salvage vehicles; vehicles retained by owner and un-recovered thefts.



Qualifications:
Three years liability claims adjusting experience, or the equivalent. Ability to negotiate effectively. PC skills are a necessity.
