Senior Actuarial Consultant

Major Duties and Functions Include: Summary of Responsibilities: This position supports the Group Disability Pricing team. Responsibilities may vary depending on the qualifications of the candidate. The job could support some or all of the pricing, underwriting, compliance, systems support, and reporting duties performed by the team.
Underwriting support, documentation, and training
Handling of compliance and rate filing issues
Work with our partners on system & product development efforts
Assist with the maintenance & updating of pricing programs & tools
Support pricing studies & analysis
Support data and reporting efforts as needed What You Need to Succeed:


FSA or ASA preferred
Strong analytical skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to communicate with all levels of management.
Experience in group insurance underwriting
Knowledge of Group Disability pricing a plus
Knowledge of group insurance compliance and rate filings a plus
An effective trainer/presenter
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, Lotus Notes, Word & Power Point
Ability to work independently and in team environment.
