We are searching for an experienced, professional Underwriter for our Cypress, CA office to work in our Medicare Part D department. You would rate new and renewal benefit plans while enjoying the perks of working for one of the largest and most successful healthcare companies in the industry. Primary responsibilities include:
Evaluating both new and renewal requests for Part D plans
Developing rates using experience rating methodologies
Working with detail census information and benefit plan relativities
Communicating with peers in actuarial as well as sales and account management



The chosen candidate will possess commercial group underwriting experience, specifically with retiree group healthcare business. Familiarity with Medicare and Part D is essential. Experience with negotiating as well as CMS reimbursement would be ideal. Strong computer skills as well as a Bachelor’s degree are required for this role.
