WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Must have 2-5 years relevant experience; College degree preferred
Consistent high level of performance and achievement over career span
State required certification exams and adjusting licenses
Demonstrated level of competency as described in the Competency Profile
Internal candidates must be working toward certification on coverage and compensability



WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION?

The Level III Claim Service Rep. will plan, recommend, reserve and execute the investigation, valuation, disposition and settlement of Level III Claims*, consistent with corporate claim settlement policies & procedures, and statutory, regulatory and ethics requirements. The candidate will achieve fair, equitable and timely claim dispositions and properly assess the indemnity and expense exposure of assigned claims. He or she will serve as a claim specialist on those more complex claims involving coverage & compensability, litigation, and pure exposure claims up to $100,000.

*Level III Claims -- defined as claims with pure exposure from $25,000 to $100,000. May include inpatient surgery, back surgeries, complex coverage, compensability, subrogation, and litigated files.
