The Search Submit Pro program facilitates the frequent indexing of deep and diverse content for hard-to-crawl sites, enhancing overall relevance and the search experience for users. We are currently seeking a talented Editor with technical skills to join our team.

Be an advocate for the Search user experience. Work to preserve and improve the quality and relevance of search results by evaluating the impact of potential new content and existing content.

Evaluate the quality of potential new content feeds and web pages on a number of criteria for inclusion into the search index. Consider impact on Search results.

Conduct trial reviews of potential new content. Evaluate the performance of content during the trial period using various performance metrics.

Conduct reviews on existing content using proprietary tools and visual verification to ensure compliance with content guidelines.

Form conclusions and render judgments on reviewed content. Document and communicate results of evaluations. Substantiate and defend decisions. Recommend solutions.

Manage a pipeline of requests. Conduct reviews efficiently yet effectively. Provide updated status. Follow up with account managers and sales engineers to ensure timely resolution to identified problems with content feeds.

Basic requirements:

* Must speak fluent Mandarin, and read/write traditional and simplified Chinese.
* Ability to assess the authoritativeness, relevance and overall quality of search results and web page content.
* Familiarity with search engine optimization techniques desired.

Preferred qualifications:

* 2+ years in a technical or editorial position.
* Bachelor's degree in a technical field or language arts preferred.
* Knowledge of HTML, XML and UNIX.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
* Meticulous and detail oriented.
* Can follow a process efficiently and effectively.
* Able to document, communicate and support findings and recommendations.
* Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a very fast paced environment.
