Our client is taking a major leap forward, and requires your management skills to help them get to the next level! We are currently seeking a highly motivated, results oriented individual to manage a sales team in the web-development, hosting and co-location services industry, while maintaining current customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit and hire sales teams
- Develop company sales plan focused on meeting company revenue goals
- Manage, organize, and motivate the in-house and outside sales teams; responsible for the combined performance of the teams; ensure everyone within the teams reach or exceed their targets
- Design and implement new hire training materials, rapidly train incoming salespeople and develop and perform ongoing training programs; build a self-help library allowing salespeople to grow skill sets
- Target new business opportunities; know the competition
- Develop and promote product awareness by yet to be defined marketing campaigns
- Must be able to teach sales teams to properly prospect, qualify, investigate, present and close
- Assist sales teams in the preparation of proposals to clients
- Mentor, & evaluate sales teams regularly; manage weak associates to performance improvement plans
- Establish an effective sales call cycle for key customers, partners and contacts, by ensuring sales teams maintain electronic documentation of sales activities
- Approve time, expense reports, etc. of sales staff; responsible for monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals of company
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or sales preferred and 5 or more years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience replacing the degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship building skills
- Must have a proven track record as a sales associate and manager
- Must possess significant computer skills in a variety of areas: Internet, web-hosting, co-location, Microsoft programs, etc.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Organized and efficient
- Problem solver
- Identify strengths in each sales representative by focusing their efforts in the product areas that best fit their talents
- Ability to set and manage client expectations
- Entrepreneurial spirit is a definite asset
