Front End Engineer - Yahoo! 360

Description
Yahoo! 360 team is looking for an experienced, self-motivated, and passionate Frontend Engineer. You will be expected to implement modern web clients using the latest technologies as well as business logic components and interface with relational databases. You'll work closely with interaction designers, visual designers, user experience researchers, marketers, and product managers to build high quality client applications according to specifications.

Requirements and Skills

You must have a strong command of XHTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, cross-browser compatibility issues, optimization techniques and internationalization issues.
You must have 3-5 years of industry experience with at least one year building CSS based layouts.
You must have experience with PHP and have a solid software programming background.
You must have a strong attention to detail.
Experience with SQL and relational databases is a plus.
Experience with Apache, Unix environments, and source control tools is a plus.
Experience with C/C++ is a plus.
Experience with OOP/Design Patterns is a plus.
Experience with regular expressions and algorithms is a big plus
Experience with Perl and shell scripting is a plus.
Knowledge AJAX, browser degradation strategies, accessibility techniques, device-portability techniques is a plus.
Experience with Javascript/XML based widget engines is a plus.
A Computer Science degree and/or related work experience required.
