Our client, located near Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking a Game Design Manager with the following skills and/or abilities:





Confident with ability to pass a very thorough FBI-Like Background Check.





Minimum of 5 years of experience with game creation/design, math model creation, art direction or producing experience.





3+ years in a Senior Management role.





Verifies that all game design activities are carried out in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations.





Works with the global game design team and executives to structure and manage the game design team's activities, strategies and projected growth.





Collaborates with the management and game design team to provide game and market input.





Participates in creating innovative game design concepts.





Proven track record of delivering original software products (ideally gaming or entertainment software) as Producer/Project Lead including but not limited to: analyzing and estimating the feasibility, cost and timing of games.





Guides, directs and ensures the game design team resources are most effectively deployed for the development, production, promotion and financial aspects of the function.





Ensures game designs and final shipped product reflect current market trends and meets customer expectations via regular internal review.





Reviews the game with quality and consistency in mind and provides constructive feedback.





Encourages and promotes development among the game design team for growth opportunities.





Ensures the responsibilities, authorities and accountability of all team members are defined and understood.





Oversees game design team and enforces the organization's policies and procedures.





Creates the game design budget and encourages team members to participate in the budget process.





Generates monthly reports to the management team on game design activities.





Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Business, Management, Computer Science or other applicable education or equivalent experience.





MS Word, Excel, Power Point and MS Project experience.


Exceptional verbal and written communication skills is required.





Must be able to work well under pressure.

Casino or Electronic Game Design / Creation (e.g., Slot Machines, IGT, WMS Gaming, Aristocrat, Nintendo, Sega, X-Box, PlayStation, GameBoy, Atari, Sony), Management or Supervisor, Bachelors degree (Mathematics, Business, Management, Computer Science)
