Title: International Marketing Manager, Retention & Development
Location: Burbank, CA

The Marketing Manager will help the Yahoo! Search Marketing's (YSM) international markets in the strategy, development, and execution of key marketing programs for Yahoo!'s Sponsored Search products. He/She will work with cross-functional teams including Product, Technology, Research, Creative, Analytics and Customer Solutions and Sales to achieve program objectives.

This position's primary responsibilities will be to support the international markets in the development of key initiatives in Yahoo! Search Marketing's retention and development marketing, educational, and customer insight initiatives.

Principal Responsibilities:

Market Insight & Marketing Strategy: Develop a thorough understanding of the current customer needs for Yahoo! Sponsored Search and use that knowledge to work with the international markets in defining and developing marketing strategies to increase loyalty, reduce attrition and successfully grow revenue momentum for the business. Work with key groups such as analytics and customer solutions to support program development. Define key success factors and performance metrics for marketing programs and analyze results accordingly.

Support Existing Markets: Provide on-going training and coaching for local marketing managers.

Advertiser Communication: Oversee Communications Associate Manager in the optimization of advertiser communications to ensure we are delivering all communications materials for new product and feature launches on time with high quality.

Internal Communication: Direct Communications Manager in the development of internal communications tools with the goal of fully leveraging the sharing, retention and implementation of key learnings from around the world.

Consumer Site Management: Oversee Market Support Manager in the management of international consumer sites, including working with the markets to further empower them to manage their sites and to ensure markets are fully leveraging available content management system tools.

Advertiser Education: International lead for working with the markets to identify both on and offline education tactics that will help us to better address advertiser attrition and increase advertiser spend.

Basic Qualifications:

* 7-10 years of marketing experience, 3+ years online marketing.
* People management experience required.
* Extreme focus on numbers and results, strong analytical capabilities, a solid understanding of key financial and business metrics, and the ability to apply creative insights to analytical data.
* Strong communication (written and verbal) skills.
* Strong presentation skills, including experience communicating business and marketing objectives to creative teams.
* Ability to succeed in a highly matrixed and rapidly changing environment.
* Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
* Willingness to travel and work across multiple time zones.
* Bachelor degree required.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience managing business-to-business retention and development programs.
* MBA degree.
