Job Description:

As a software Quality Assurance Engineer you will join the team responsible for maintaining the high quality of our internal and external advertiser systems You will primarily test the editorial processing system (EPS) and help ensure new releases to EPS continue to deliver the high quality and functionality demanded by our business.

Responsibilities:

You will work closely with the internal and External Advertiser Systems QA Manager and development teams during the development, test, and launch phases of the software development and release cycle. As a QA Engineer, you will: Review functional and design specifications, develop test strategies/ test plans, test applications including integration, system (acceptance), regression, verify results on supported platforms, perform database queries to valid test data, enter defects, work closely with developers in defect resolution, and assist SOC (Search Operation Center) to troubleshoot Yahoo! internal and external advertiser system issues.

* 1+ years working with Yahoo!'s internal applications
* Proficient English writing skills
* Strong organizational communication skills and attention to detail

* Expert knowledge of EPS, offer apps and EPS Jr.
* Creation of solid test plans.
* Familiarity with quality methodologies such as: CMM, ISO or IEEE.
* Strong understanding of all aspects of the QA role, and all areas of application testing
* Experience with automated test tools and load testing packages (Jmeter, QTP)
* Experience with defect tracking systems and other software life cycle management tools (I.e. Tracker, Bugzilla, TestManager, etc.)

Preffered Qualifications:
* Familiarity and hands on experience with CRM, DTC, OLS and the Panama offer apps
* Previous experience with software quality assurance is a plus.
