Yahoo! Legal has a new opening for a Legal Billing Analyst. The Legal Billing Analyst will initially be responsible for assisting and leading segments of a transition to a new e-billing system. Post-implementation responsibilities will include maintenance and support of internal and external clients of the e-billing system and the processing and analysis of all legal billing related issues. In addition, the Legal Billing Analyst will provide critical support to Yahoo! Legal's senior management.

Specific Responsibilities will include:
 Assist with system setup, data population, training and rollout, along with other implementation steps (during the transition)
 Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the Finance and Legal Department, as well as internal and external customers
 Establish semi-annual meeting with key internal stakeholders to learn about process deficiencies and discuss best practices
 Acquire a thorough understanding of all activities related to billing and educate others about these processes through training and documentation
 Maintain, train, and monitor all related items into the billing system and processes, including any cost center or organizational chart updates needed for the AP system integration
 Support e-billing system users in adding / removing accounts, resetting passwords, processing invoices, running reports, and entering budgets
 Serve as single point of contact between Yahoo! and the vendor responsible for submitting improvement suggestions, escalating user questions, evaluating upcoming releases, etc.
 Confirm compliance with agreed terms and conditions between Yahoo! and outside counsel and verification of data entry to minimize audit violations
 Process all customer billing related issues in the specified timeframe and provide regular backups
 Analyze and report billing trends and cycles as needed to the Finance and Legal Departments as a means to track internal efficiencies and evaluate performance

Requirements and Qualifications:
 BA/BS with relevant billing and systems experience
 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
 Excellent written and oral communications skills
 High Degree of initiative and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
 Excellent attention to detail and organization
 Strong analytical skills
 Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with individuals at many levels of internal and external organizations
 Minimum of three years of legal work experience
 Understanding of accounting principles and processes a plus
